Imogen's Wardobe - sustainable top and dress size 2-3 years
Imogen’s Wardrobe designs and makes ethical and organic children’s wear. It is a brand new concept in sustainable children’s wear; a small business growing from the kitchen table at East Rose Cottage. All the garments are handmade from new organic fabric and upcycled, good quality, material creating an individual look for each one off piece.
Here are some pictures of the launch designs inspired by the festival season, the upcycled fabrics and trimmings are hand picked to create an individual look. The stories behind the clothes are also included and they are written so that your little ones can enjoy the story too…
Sweet Pea Festival Top age 2-3 (Image by Cocoa Rose Boutique Photography)
Once upon a time I was a beautiful cotton skirt. The sewing fairy at East Rose Cottage took me and made me into this wonderful 100% cotton, upcycled top. She added recycled ribbons from her old sewing box for the straps and made sure the cute little embroidered flowers on the bodice were in just the right place and she finished it all off with the comfiest upcycled lining for delicate skin. I was made for the East Rose Cottage Sweet Pea Fairy Princess, she wore it at her harvest festival, but she has given me to you to wear with love.
You can machine wash me at 40 degrees, but 30 degrees is much more garden friendly.
Festival Pinnie Dress age 2-3 (Image by Cocoa Rose Boutique Photography)
Once upon a time the festival fairy made me from 100% cotton and lace dress fabric, she added beautiful blue buttons from her old tin recycled button box and made straps and pockets out of upcycled denim, being very careful to add two button holes on each strap to fit tiny shoulders. She then added the pocket daisies made from a fine cotton skirt and embroidered with thin cotton thread. I was made for the festival party queen fairy who wore me on opening night, and I’ve been given to you to wear with love. .
