Little Girl Pirate Collection Autumn/Winter 10
The story of the Little Girl Pirate dress…
The little girl pirates came in the night, their chest of treasure, full of delight. They took fine silk from a furniture maker and made a pattern out of strong layout paper. They snipped and they sewed all through the night then hoisted the sails, what a magnificent sight.
“Remember the flag”, shouted the little girl captain, “the one I have here is held on by my hatpin”. So they found a blue button from their treasure chest and attached it with cross bones in fine cotton thread.
When one of the little girl pirates spied land up ahead, “that be a treasure beach!”, she said. The beach was made of the softest cotton cloth and they sailed towards it on a sea of denim and vintage lace froth.

Not only do these dresses come with a delightful story for your little girl, they are very ocean friendly made in a sustainable way from hand dyed organic hemp/cotton denim, repurposed silk and vintage lace, the fastening buttons are 100% sustainable made from tagua nut.

Imogen’s Wardrobe launched its Little Girl Pirate Collection with a photo shoot on Portobello beach. Our little girl pirates had so much fun in the dresses, we had to include more pictures from the shoot. The photos were created by Cocoa Rose boutique photography, the brief was pirates on Porty beach and the difficulty level of capturing these amazing shots of our toddler models was higher than Jack Sparrow’s rigging!

The pirates are coming!

Shiver me timbers

Now where did I put that parrot

Hoist the sails, we are coming aboard...
